My Hero Academia has in recent years surpassed many of its competitors to become one of the most popular anime and manga series of all time. The plot takes place in a future world where four-fifths of the population have some sort of superhuman "Quirk", leading society to establish a system of superheroes. Much of the action takes place at or around U.A., the High School where many of the main characters train to become better heroes.

One such student is Ochaco Uraraka. She's a vibrant, sociable, and truly heroic person, and she's given some of the series' most relatable and motivational lines during her quest to become a hero.

10 "Giving Up Isn't An Option For Me!"

Ochaco is one of the more innocent characters in My Hero Academia, but she still knows her duties as a hero.

Inspired by her classmates, she gives herself the same determination to not give up that they have, with at least part of her motive being that she wants to use her hero earnings to give her parents a better life -- a truly noble cause.

9 "What Would Deku Do In A Time Like This?"

Ochaco is occasionally slow to make decisions, but in this instance (fighting against Thirteen in the Final Exam), she cures her indecisiveness by deciding to think of what Deku, someone she admires, would do in the situation she's in.

Thinking calms her and allows her to put her situation in perspective.

At the school festival, Ochaco witnesses Iida and Deku split up and go on separate teams despite being friends, which encourages her to do the same so as not to piggyback off of their talents.

She wants to forge her own path to the finals, one that allows her to show off her own individual strengths without them being dampened by the talents of another.

7 "I'll Focus On Working Just As Hard As He Does."

Again, Ochaco's biggest motivator is her peers. This is particularly seen in later episodes where she's working alongside Pro Heroes -- she relies on them for encouragement to get the job done.

Over the course of the anime, she's often caught between wanting to be independent and wanting guidance to help her get through a situation, but in the case presented in this quote she's found a healthy way to do both. She's decided to train as hard as Deku does and reach his level through developing her strengths.

And there it is. Ochaco's affirmation of her own abilities, an unwavering declaration prompted by the support of her friends and parents -- as well as her desire to help others, the thing that made her become a hero in the first place.

Many other young heroes over the course of My Hero Academia have claimed the same thing Ochaco does here, but none with such conviction.

5 "And For That You Act So Menacing..."

Ochaco, despite her naive demeanor, is actually one of the most observant students in Class 1-A.

Ochaco is confident in her belief that she will one day become an extraordinary hero, but that doesn't stop her from needing to remind herself of what she needs to do every now and then.

This quote occurs during the episode "Moving into Dorms", which finds the students dealing with the ramifications of their actions during the preceding Hideout Raid Arc.

At the end of the episode, Tsuyu admits that she's had trouble dealing with everything that happened, which leads Ochaco (ever the peacemaker) to make an attempt at reconciling everyone so that they can be able to "laugh together again."

1 "I'll Win! I'll Win And Be Like Deku, Too!"

This is a something Ochaco first says during her fight with Bakugo at the U.A. Sports Festival's Fighting Tournament (a fight she loses, though not for a lack of trying).

She repeats it, however, during her confrontation with Himiko Toga, during which Toga talks about wanting to be like someone else -- a desire that has a literal application in regards to Toga's Quirk, but could also have a somewhat metaphorical application to Ochaco's idolization of Deku. For better or for worse, wanting to be like someone else is what persuades Ochaco to act.
