We call this space “Inspired by your Kindness."

It’s a place to recognize those genuine, heartfelt acts reminding us of the good that exists in the world. They’re usually unassuming, like a community pitching in tomove a St. Jude family into a new home. Or a9-year-old girl making friendship braceletsto raise money for Minneapolis charities after George Floyd’s death.

This one is a little different, a little bigger. But it comes from the same place —genuine kindness for others.

Nearly 60 leading brands, joined by dozens of celebrities and media figures, uniting in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the annual St. JudeThanks and Givingcampaign.

St. Jude Thanks and Giving®: The epitome of kindness (2)

It's a holiday effort to raise funds and awareness to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.

It means 1 million associates in 55,000 stores across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada asking customers to give to St. Jude. A million people asking millions more for help. It's St. Jude founder Danny Thomas' famous quote brought to life: "I'd rather have a million people give me a dollar than one give me a million. That way you've got a million people involved."

And, customers can give when they shop online with most of these partners, too.

Marlo Thomas, who serves as National Outreach Director for St. Jude, created the campaign with her siblings, Tony and Terre, in support of the mission their father founded. It has raised more than $1 billion since it began 17 years ago.

Jennifer Aniston, Sofia Vergara, Michael Strahan, Luis Fonsi and Yara Shahidi are just five of the celebrities joining this year’s campaign. All spoke about how the children of St. Jude were motivating factors to continue their support and have left a lasting impact on their lives.

This remarkable push for good is an example of what can be accomplished when organizations and individuals, together, work toward a common goal.

At a time of year to give thanks, everyone involved in this effort has earned our sincere appreciation.
