Who is Scarlet Valentine? ›

Scarlet Valentine (スカーレット・ヴァレンタイン, Sukāretto Varentain) is a tertiary antagonist featured in the seventh part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Steel Ball Run, specifically in the "Tubular Bells" story arc. Scarlet is the wife of Funny Valentine and the first lady of the United States.

Thanks to Cream Starter, Lucy disguises herself as the president's wife, Scarlet Valentine, who was killed during the infiltration. However, Lucy is quickly discovered by Funny Valentine who tries to rape her, causing Lucy to blow her cover and attack the President in self-defense.

Valentine also demonstrates a generally dignified and composed attitude. In attitude, he is a polite man, among others using the formal and neutral pronoun "Watashi" (わたし) for himself, and almost never losing his composure enough to insult someone.

When Lucy's stand awakened D4C's true abilities, he gains the stand Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap- Love Train, which creates a reflective barrier around him that will redirect any misfortune that comes his way to somewhere else in the world.

Ticket to Ride ( 涙の乗車券 チケット・ゥ・ライド , Chiketto u Raido, lit. "Ticket of Tears") is the Stand used by Lucy Steel, featured in Steel Ball Run.

Appearance. Lucy is a 14-year-old girl of average height and build. She has light, medium-length hair and an outfit generally consisting of a dress and striped tights. She also wears arm warmers and tall boots, both adorned with circular decorations.

Now a young man, Valentine joined the army. At some point, he was captured by the enemy and brutally tortured, leaving scars spanning his back (in a pattern resembling that of the flag of the United States).

"Dojyaaan!" is the Japanese onomatopoeia equivalent to "Ta-daaa!" Valentine says it because he's based on a stage magician So both are accurate. "Ta-da" is what both FV and Jodio would actually be saying, but "Dojyaaan!" is what the fandom associates with Valentine.

In the English localization of All-Star Battle, D4C is only referred to by the shorthand D4C, whilst the full phrase "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is generally changed to a synonym phrase ("Time to perform some dishonest acts at a fair and reasonable price!").

In the popular manga title Steel Ball Run, the main antagonist Funny Valentine is named in reference to this song. The song inspired Ettore Sottsass in his choice of a name for the Olivetti Valentine typewriter.
