Among the most powerful words in any language are: “I love you.”

But what do you do when you want to truly express your love to your sweetheart, and “I love you” feels overdone (is that even possible?!) or more likely just doesn’t feel like enough?

These eight phrases can help you express your feelings in a meaningful, thoughtful way.

1. "I think about you all the time"

This sentence means so much because it shows that your person is on your mind even when you're apart. Although you have so many things that could take center stage in your mind, you allow your spouse to play the starring role.

2. "Let me help you"

Many people feel love more through actions than through words. Making the effort to help your partner shows love through action. It also shows you are mindful of them and you desire to make their life easier.

Love can be fleeting, so making a commitment shows your love is something stronger than an emotion. Commitment is choosing to stick with someone in spite of feelings or circ*mstances and transcends love.
